Building a Dock

Aqua Can Floatation Ltd. has gone to great lengths in the design and construction of our Modular Floats so that they easily assemble into whatever configuration you have in mind. A simple four module float is put together in 5 easy steps.

Step 1

You will require a combination of 2x4 and 2x8 pieces of lumber cut to the desired length of your dock. Along with your decking lumber (2 x 6)

Step 2

Fasten your perimeter lumber using the embedded screw ports on the outer section of the float.

Threaded 3/8" nuts are embedded during the moulding process for ease of anchoring decking material.

Step 3

Join the desired number of floats together with 8 x 4 lengths.

Step 4

You are now ready to secure your chosen decking.

Step 5

Your platform is now ready to be floated. Fully adjustable floatation height can be achieved with the utilization of a unique resealable 3" Porthole. This feature enables the possibility of adding ballast so as to match heights of existing docks or to create a swim platform to sit as low in the water as desired.
